About HUNS
Croatian Association "Football Union" (CAFU) is established on December 1st, 2010 to promote, develop and improve status of players and other participants of Croatian football.
Professional activities of HUNS are:
- protection and promotion of interests and rights of members,
- performance of different activities (organizing of panels, public disclosure, cooperation with associations and their bodies and such) with an aim of democratization of sports, promoting solidarity and equality (stop to racism), promoting non-violence (stop to violence), fight against discrimination and respect of moral and legal norms of all participants in football,
- organizing events and similar activities to promote football, excellence and development of its members,
- conducting planning and informing public about the work of HUNS,
- monitoring legislation and participationin public and other discussions before adoption of regulations that concern rights and obligations, i.e. the status of members, especially in areas of labour and social law legislation in part in which they cover the rights of employees in Croatian football,
- strengthening of cooperation and connecting with related organizations in Croatia and abroad,
- cooperation with the international and Croatian organizations/associations: FIFA, UEFA, the Croatian Football Federation, Croatian Football league,
- organizing meetings and social contacts between young players and former players with a view to exchange experiences and information,
- organizing of lectures, seminars and other forms of education to better introduce members to their rights, and especially obligations under applicable legislation concerning their work/activities,
- organizing of consultations and other forms of education to better introduce members with all the elements of arbitration and disciplinary proceedings in which it is competent CFF, and other appropriate bodies,
- organizing of consultations, seminars and other forms of education and similar activities to help and develop another career after cessation of football activities,
- publishing books and magazines within the scope of its activities.
